Preschool (ages 3-5)

In our preschool program we begin to tune your child's fine motor skills by writing their name and alphabet. Numbers, colors and shapes will be reviewed daily. We introduce them to phonics by teaching letter sounds. Simple math is taught through sorting and counting. (Half days available).

At the YMCA, we believe that it is our responsibility to teach your child skills needed for school, as well as to teach them the YMCA's four core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Your child’s personal growth and safety are the primary goals of the Paris Bourbon County YMCA.

2 Year Old Program

In our two year old program we work on learning the alphabet, recognizing shapes and colors, counting, and phonics. At this time we will introduce your child to the potty and aid in any training that you wish to pursue. This program is year round.

Super Fun After School (ages K - 12 years)

A safe, fun environment awaits your child after school at the YMCA. We provide an afternoon snack, physical activities, arts and crafts, and homework time. We will incorporate DDR (Dance, Dance, Revolution), movement and dance, fitness training, swimming, and our Sports Wall into our program. The hours are 2:30-6:30 p.m. and all day on school holidays and snow days. The school bus will drop your child off at our front door. All children will be provided with a snack upon their arrival before proceeding to our activity for the day.

Meals

A Nutritious lunch and afternoon snack are included in the price of our 2 year old program and Preschool program. Winter Campers will need to bring a nutritious lunch for Winter Break Camp and any school days that they are out.

Sportwall

Come see where all the fun is happening. The YMCA game room has a new addition that is fun for all ages. Kids through adults can play. Great for sport specific skills, eye hand coordination, and just active fun.

Come check out the latest craze in youth gaming. Our Dance Dance Revolution game incorporates both fun and fitness.
